IQ Shoreditch- From beginning to end, the interview was a shambles. I was greeted by the property manager as well as the assistant manager , where I was taken to this dingy dining room where the interview was being held. Once seated they were both clueless as to what to ask me and both looked at each other for assistance . At one point the assistant manager said ' I'm sorry I don't know what to ask ? I've lost my train of thought. as i waited around 60 seconds for him to try and think of something to ask me, he then asked his manager to take over. Once the property manager took over, all she seemed to care about was was my previous experience with working for Unite Students ( a competitor ) . She asked what systems do they use, how they run there properties? overall this interview was dreadful, management were under prepared, and lacked in interviewing skills. I am not the best at interviews, but this was very disappointing .

Short phone interview then face to face interview. On site usually with manager. Questions about company so do some research on history number of sites. Competency based questions with site manager. May include simple written assessment mainly spelling and grammar.
