Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 2 días. Acudí a una entrevista en i6 Group en jul 2021

      Entrevista

I had an initial long interview which was friendly, informal and interesting to learn about the company's niche product and services. The second interview was also in the same vein. Following the interview, I was told I would hear a response and some feedback within 24 hours. So having heard nothing after 7 days, I was beginning to think this was a tad strange. After 10 days passed (still having heard nothing), I assumed that I was not selected for the next stage (which is absolutely fine). I did however find it bad form to not receive any communication following our interview, partly out of principle as s to why I had not been told the outcome - especially with both parties having committed the time and energy. As a matter of principle, I wrote a customary email to follow up (as I thought they may have forgotten which would have been fine). At the very least I thought they would have the courtesy to reply and let me know I had not been selected for the position. But having received no response from either of the team members I had met, I decided to email again a few days later - sadly again I received no response. So having spent over 2 hours discussing the role, i6 and learning about the company - I'm fairly dismayed they decided not to get in touch to let me know I had not been successful and chose to not reply to my emails. Regretfully, despite my initial impressions of i6, I don't believe this has reflected well on the company or the team I had enjoyed meeting and speaking with. Having heard about the company values, the culture, putting people at the heart of what they do etc - the irony has not been lost on me that they don't have the customary politeness to get back in touch. Weasel words about being a people focussed organisation sound great, however in my opinion are pretty meaningless if not demonstrated to potential employees. I bear no grudge at all for not being successful, however, I do think it's both customary and respectful to let candidates know they have not been selected following an interview - especially when committing the time and effort in meeting and learning more about each other. I hope i6 takes my feedback and comments on board, for interviewing prospective candidates in the future. I was grateful to be selected for an initial interview, however, despite my initial impressions, I'm left with the conclusion that i6 is either too busy to respond or just impolite - my hope would be it is the former.
