      I had a Skype interview with a recruiter (G.S.) from Singapore entity, it was one of the poorest experiences I had in my life for the following reasons: _the recruiter did not turn on the video despite the fact that mine was turned on, I did not understand the added value of Skype compared to a phone call _the recruiter took a phone call in the middle of the interview, a minimum level of consideration for the candidate is always appreciated, especially when it is time to break the ice and make a connection _the interview lasted 15 minutes (- 2 minutes for the phone call in the middle of the interview) and the recruiter asked me just 5 questions, I really struggle to understand how it is possible to understand the personality of someone and assess motivation and fit for the company/position within such a short time/context _the recruiter did not provide any feedback (positive or negative) following the Skype session, despite a mail sent 9 days after to follow up (I consider 9 days are not too early, neither too late to follow up) I have the feeling this interview was just to simulate having a recruitment process and meeting different candidates to pretend being an equal opportunity employer. I suggest to respect yourself (and the reputation of a group) and respect candidates saving time and energy if there is no real opportunity. In addition to that, put a real interest in what you are doing or change your job function (maybe HR are not for you). Ethics in a company starts with recruitment and is something which clearly cannot be neglected today.
