Entrevista
HR reached out for a screening call about 2 weeks after I applied. The screening was a quick overview of the role and company, and we discussed my background. On that call she scheduled my next interview with the person who would have been my manager. That was 30 minutes on Teams. Pretty straight forward, and informal. Then the final interview was a 40 minute Teams call. The first 20 minutes was with 2 people at the level of my would be manager. Again straight forward, the second 20 minutes was with a VP. It was an awkward transition having a third person pop in, then the first 2 had to drop because their time was up. I don't feel that I regained my footing, and I'd have done much better had these interviews been separated. The questions the VP asked me about weren't on the job description, so I don't think I was as well prepared as I could have been. I would have used different examples if I'd time to think about it. However, I think the role requires thinking on your feet, so maybe this is just an indicator that the role wasn't for me more than a flaw in the process.
