Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en eDreams ODIGEO (Barcelona) en ago 2018

      Entrevista

An external agent found me via LinkedIn and offered me a position. I had a chat with him, then with an in-house HR person - she was very kind in our conversations. Then there was a constructive meeting with a Team Lead and after that with two team members to present the completed challenge. The brief was mentioning that basically they want to see the way I think when facing a project - so I started from a scratch. I did a research, theory and visual results - all on around 20 pages in total. I also offered 2 possible solutions and highlighted that they need to be tested. Yes, UX without testing and validation is a no-go. Therefore, I wasn't able to assume (probably my mistake from their perspective). However, I wanted to stay professional. The UX designers from the team seemed tired. They seemed to look for details which is ok. They started to smile only after I asked if the spirit in the team is all right. I had to write an email to find out about their decision about me. They replied with a surprise that somebody else had to contact me which he/she didn't and told me that there are free slots only for the native apps department (that's the position what I actually applied for) - that means that they didn't know what position I was applying for. I asked to the in-house HR person for a feedback regarding my presentation, appearance, impression, etc. - didn’t receive an answer. Then the external agent contacted me saying that the end result wasn't good enough. Overall - it seems like a regular big company with sometimes “it’s not my business” attitude. The refusal reasons given seemed a bit doubtful and/or the information from their end didn’t fill the empty gaps. Experience from this process was ok, shame about the time invested. Was feeling a bit bitter at the beginning with the “Ouh, didn’t anybody tell you?” refusal and not answered questions or even a reply.
