HR reached out to me on LinkedIn though I am a data scientist. Interviewer at first joined the call and were busy with his own work. After 4-5 mins he introduced himself as a 10+ years experienced Machine Learning engineer (after looking at his profile over linkedIn it turned out that he has been Data Engineer from start and currently is). He was so focused on putting his words into your mouth for questions what he was asking. He was also lacking basic SQL skills which was revealed on a question over window function. The prep mail said that interview will be based on technical skills but not hard on syntax but interviewer was too focused on that. He was keep throwing the production scenarios, which was good but sounding like a novice setting up the pipeline and system not architected well, which wasn't the case in real world scenario, basically making a hypothetical scenario on his own. He was so arrogant during the interviewer and which turned me off as a candidate and I wanted the interview to be ended. I called the HR and asked for dropping my profile, on which HR informed that I am already rejected, lol. It was both sad and happy moment for me. Sad, this manner you can not get perfect blend of Data Engineer and Data Science. 100% expertise on DE and DS is way hard. Happy that I am not working on wrong expectation just for the sake of job.

Ho fatto un colloquio al telefono e poi in ufficio con un tecnico in cui ha chiesto delle domande su statistica, matematica e informatica (es: sql, python). La persona che mi ha fatto il colloquio è stata molto gentile e disponibile anche a darmi le rispost
