After applying online and doing a few simple online tests, I was asked to attend a 'Webinar' where the head of recruitment spoke for 5 minutes and sold the company very well. I was invited to the final assessment day at Heathrow. I turned down the job offer because of a number of reasons: The base salary for £1000 is laughable - it is a commission based game, but I would still expect a base salary of more than £12000 p.a.. Also you are expected to financially support yourself for a month in malta (yes you get given accommodation but a relocating bonus would have been nice) I was given 2 days to decide if I wanted to accept the job. Lots of people who I have spoken to about DeVere have said that they are a bunch of criminals who don't look after investor's money. It is primarily a cold-calling job. There seems to be some sort of personality-cult surrounding Nigel Green the CEO - he seems like an English L. Ron Hubbard! I haven't heard anything positive about the company other than their employees - everyone else has said to me stay well away from them!

Professional, the moment I entered the office it felt like home. The Dubai office is mind-blowing and a prefect set up to be successful. I can't wait to start and work in a environment that is suited for me.
