Applying was very easy. No CV necessary. Quickly after applying, I was sent an assessment to see if Bunq and I could be a match. A few days later I was sent a technical assessment. At this point I hadn't spoken to a person yet, so I didn't even know yet if the salary expectations were even aligned. Regardless, I started with the assessment. I had some questions about it, which took some days to get an answer to. I invested a lot of time and effort into this assessment. Gave up family time for it. It has now been 1,5 weeks and I have yet to receive any sort of response from Bunq. I followed up, just to confirm that they had received my assessment, but no response to that either. I feel like my time has been massively wasted and I am being ghosted. It is probably a good indicator on how personnel is treated here. The least that Bunq could have done is acknowledged the time and energy I invested into their recruitment process and given me constructive feedback about the assessment, if they had any. They haven't spent any time or energy into their own process and as a result I feel massively disappointed and disrespected.

I applied online and got an assessment link the very next day. The assessment had logic, math and behavioural questions for cultural fit. The assessment report was generated right after the test and I looked like a good fit. I was then contacted by a recruiter to do a coding assignment in php and was given 10 days. I submitted it within 5 days and waited for a while. After 10 days of submitting assignment, I was handed with a generic rejection mail. Apparently they didn't give any feedback to 'preserve' the integrity of their assessments. After putting so many days of effort, candidate deserves to get some feedback at least. Feels like I dodged a bullet. Apply at own risk and keep your expectations low.
