I was contacted for a Senior Data Scientist position and we had a detailed conversation where we aligned on compensation and role expectations. The discussion went well, and I requested the official job description to review next steps. I was told it would be shared within a few hours — and then I never heard back again. Being ghosted after engaging in a supposedly serious hiring conversation reflects poorly on the company’s recruitment practices. It creates a negative candidate experience and unfortunately reinforces the reputation noted in other Glassdoor reviews. I hope the company can improve transparency and communication in their hiring process moving forward.
