Entrevista
1) 10 minute screening interview 2) 15 minute Webex/video interview 3) Houston office visit/networking + one interview with 2 managers
Getting to the final round in the Houston office was not difficult at all. There were no behavioral questions asked during 2 screening interviews. I also found out during the first 10 minute phone call that the person who I was talking to (who also interviewed me during the video interview) had only been with the company for 2 weeks (probably why I zoomed through each round). During these first two "rounds", I was asked very simply "why alliantgroup"-esque questions, nothing behavioral.
They bring you down to Houston for the final round and put you in a 3-star hotel. The final round was composed of a 10 minute presentation from an upper manager, followed by 1.5 hours of being in a room with all the other 30 candidates and 10 current employees. You will get pulled out some time during the 1.5 hours to go to your interview with the 2 managers. The questions during this interview vary depending on the managers. My questions dealt mainly with how I deal with adversity and how I work with teams. However, I heard that other people just got asked basic questions about what they like to do outside of school. I was offered the position two days later. At this networking event, I realized that I do not fit in well with the people at this company and ultimately decided to reject the offer.
You do one interview online. Mine was with two people via Zoom. Then you do an in-person interview where they will fly you in if needed and it is with one person and you get a tour of the office.

The interview process is pretty average they're going to ask why do you feel you should get hired and what is something you didn't like about last your job. I had plenty of questions for them especially after reading all of the terrible reviews online, I wanted to assure any insecurities I had about the role and the company. I was hoping they could reassure me with their answers. They did the opposite and I was glad. I asked them how do they balance work and regular life since it was emphasized that the hours were long. Since they kept emphasizing that as a new hire I would be expected to stay even later to ensure I understood the material (which is not a problem for me) I asked out of curiosity what's the latest they had ever worked. They both gave me very late times and tried to ensure that this was a one-off (contrary to what many reviews state). After the interview, I was informed that I interview well and I would be great for the role but it was obvious that I had an issue with the hours. So if you're desperate for a job, don't mention the hours or ask about it. They're going to know you aren't green.
