Usually in these opening calls a company offers information about why it’s great to join them - I had to keep asking for basic information about the company and role I applied to, which I found odd as this is not a largely known company that candidates would immediately be excited to join from reputation alone.
I would suggest their recruitment team at least try to offer details about the company and opportunity up front in first call - discuss what they are looking for and the recruitment process without the candidate needing to pull all of the information out of them.
