I saw the job on indeed.com, sent my resume to a third party recruiter. Had a brief interview with them. They contacted me and said DiscoverOrg was interested in interviewing but I first had to pass a, intellectual aptitude test online that tested my mathematical and verbal reasoning. I was then contacted for an in person interview with the dev lead, a business analyst and the CTO. No defined questions, mostly just a discussion about what Ive done and how that matches with what they need. This went well and I was asked back for a second interview where I met with the other product manager, the CEO and a marketing manager. This too went well. My references were check and passed and I received an offer later that evening. Even though I told the CEO what I was making in my current position and I told the recruiter what I my salary requirements were and the recruiter assured me these were communicated, the offer was very, very low. Lower than I made in my last four positions with no bonus program or perks whatsoever! The CEO told me to expect to work long weeks, 55 hours on average so I didn't expect to be low balled at this level in my profession. Additionally the benefits package was the worst I have seen with the lowest end medical and dental. I decided I could live with it because I really wanted the job, it sounded fun and challenging and I know I could make a real impact fast. I made a reasonable counter offer at the lowest end of my range earning the same salary I had in the job before my current one. The recruiter told me that I would receive a response in a day or two. A week later after being repeatedly put off and delayed, I received a call from the recruiter that the offer had been rescinded because the CEO felt that I didn't meet the qualifications they needed in the position. By that point I was uneasy about the prospect of working with DiscoverOrg so I wasn't terribly bothered but I did feel that it was a huge was of my time and energy.

There were no distinct questions. Just a back and forth discussion of what they need and what Ive done in the past or how I would address these needs if hired.

Interview Experience | Positive | Offer Received The whole process was pretty fast. Went from first contact to offer in under two weeks, which was nice. There were about 4 or 5 rounds: HR screen, hiring manager chat, technical assessment, and a culture/behavioral interview. None of it felt like a waste of time. The recruiter was really responsive and kept me in the loop the whole way. No ghosting or long gaps between steps. The interviews themselves felt more like real conversations than interrogations. They asked fair questions and actually let me ask mine too. Everything was straightforward. They were upfront about timelines, gave honest answers about the role, and there were no weird surprises. Good sign for how they probably run things day to day. Interview Tips: Have real examples ready for the behavioral rounds. It's a genuine back-and-forth, so treat it like you're evaluating them too.

I had 5 interview rounds in total covering all aspects from design sense, product sense, past work experience, situational based questions and lastly case study round where I had to present to a panel of interviewers. I feel it was very structured to what an enterprise interview selection looks like

The process is long and disorganized, with 6 interviews. The recruiter ghosted me for weeks then spammed me repeatedly. I was told twice "this is the last interview". No one seemed to know what was going on nor did they speak to each other so I answered the same questions alot, making it an easy but frustrating process. I have since learned this is just how they do business and know I dodged a bullet. By the time they gave me an offer I had figured out it was not a place I wanted to work and moved on. I am not surprised to see the other negative experiences on here.
