I was initially contacted by Tony Schaffer from the Talent Acquisition team after applying for the position through their website. Tony could not have been more helpful. He was thorough, helpful, and transparent during our discussion and it was obvious that he genuinely cared about my experience and where it could fit in with Zoominfo's sales team. Following our discussion, and agreeing that there was a fit, I had to take a Predictive Index Behavioral Assessment and also pass a Predictive Index Cognitive Assessment before I was able to be moved on to the next step. Tony called me within minutes of passing the assessment to schedule my interview. The next interview I had was with a few SDR managers. One of these managers was very unprofessional, cursing left and right. Now, this isn't necessarily a bad thing and I come from a sales background so its not uncommon in that culture. However, the cursing came off as aggressive, angry, and standoffish as opposed to friendly and casual. Neither of the interviewers seemed to have any excitement or interest in myself as a candidate and towards the company as a whole. The interview was conducted via Zoom. One of the interviewers would not only mute their mic but also turn off their camera for extended periods of time during the interview which further strengthened their apparent lack of interest in actually engaging in an interview. Essentially, they just came off as entirely uninterested and standoffish. I decided right then and there when the interview ended that there was no way I would choose to work for them even if offered the position. I received a call from Tony the next day who insisted on speaking to me as opposed to sending an email to tell me I was not moved on to the next step. He was pleasant and helpful and the only person throughout the process that actually seemed to care.
