Only candidates who pass this screening phase will be invited to proceed to the second stage, which takes place approximately one week later. Both stages were conducted in person, and applicants should aware that parking fees will apply for each interview, if, they choose to drive. The second-stage interview was strictly job-focused. Candidates with minimal first-author publications and those who have completed a master’s degree by coursework are strongly advised to forgo the process, as they do not meet the fundamental criteria for a researcher role. Though the job advertisement suggests that publications are merely an added advantage, they are, in reality, a non-negotiable requirement.
