Entrevista
March 11th - I was cold contacted via Linkedin mail message by Zapier. We conversed via email and set up a 1/2 hour initial interview.
March 13th - Screening went well. The person did a great job explaining the technology stack. The person said Zapier is proud of their interviewing process and they promise feedback even if you aren't selected. I was very impressed.
March 27th - 1st Interview: Interviewer never shows up on the Zoom meeting. After 5 minutes I emailed Zapier, asking if everything was OK and if we need to reschedule. I stay on for 15 minutes and received no response via email. 8 hours later I get an email from them apologizing and we rescheduled for the 7th.
April 7th - 2nd Interview Take 2: Pretty standard stuff, I think it went fairly well. I didn't think I was a good fit technically for them, my gut feeling was they wouldn't move to the next step with me.
April 15th - Surprise! I get an email stating they want to move forward and give me a take home tech project. I was actually pumped about this, maybe my gut was wrong!
April 16th - Get the Github project invite for the project with good requirements. They say no dead line but they would like it to take about a week.
April 23rd - They sent me a check-in email to see how it's going. I reply saying saying I hope to get the project submitted on the 27th, no response received.
April 27th - I still needed a few more days (My current job is a grind), so I send them another email with the status. I never got a response.
April 30th - I submit the project and send another email and ask if everything was OK because I never got responses from my previous emails. I also reiterate my excitement to hear the feedback from the team on my project.
May 1st - I did get a response to this, turns out they might have been having issue with email being sent. They confirm that they expect feedback from the team in the coming days.
May 5th - I got a status email from them that the team has been busy and would have the feedback ready the next day. I'm really excited at this point, good or bad, I love feedback!
The next day I get a "Sorry, we aren't moving forward with you" email with ZERO feedback!!! NOOOOOOO!!! :) Cherry on top was, no joke, I was told I couldn't re-apply for 6-12 months. Wait a minute! you cold contacted me!
I wish I had read the glass door interview reviews prior to wasting so much time with Zapier interviews. I won't be answering any future contacts from this company.

Got invite from team and got slot which was after 20 days.
Guy from the recruitment team took interview who was very much interested in DevOps/SRE.
Though he was from a recruitment team but still he asked a lot of questions about SRE/DevOps and to be very honest, there was a huge gap between the things he was asking and the questions asked by a DevOps/SREs. He wasn't able to understand the concept I was telling him and what I have done in my career. In the whole interview I was not able to understand what he is trying to dig out of me. Making him understand was disappointing to me as he was yawning while I was explaining the out of the approaches I have taken in past. Waste of time. It's good for a recruiter to understand basics of technologies but real-time experience on tech is very different.

Contacted by the recruiter the day after applying and set up a video call for the same week. The recruiter call was pretty straightforward. They asked me about my experience and which technologies I was most familiar with. The recruiter also provided a couple of tips based on my interview with them on how to approach the next interview.
The next interview was set up and scheduled within a week. It was with two members of management in some of the teams that were looking for SREs. The questions they asked were very nebulous, asking how would I approach certain tasks irrespective of technology. Both interviewers were very descriptive of the roles they were looking to fill and the technologies and approaches their teams used.
The next steps were a technical assignment, I was given the choice of two. The process to get access to the assignment and how to submit it was very straightforward and polished. I spent about 5 hours working on it. After submitting it, I waited about a week to receive an email that stated I would not be moving on.
The recruiter was extremely communicative during the whole process and was willing to meet with me to explain in more detail why I was passed on.
