3 step hiring process - The interview process at Yolo is a straightforward, concise and the best process that I've personally been on. The interviewers are kind, resourceful and really direct. They were able to answer any question regarding the company and the job, and the questions and task are all related to the job so don't expect anything outside of the requirements. The whole process took around 2-3 weeks. The first interview is a Intro to Yolo and the position, where a cultural fit is conducted, a little bit of your background as engineer and what you are looking for. Also since this is a relocation supported position, we talked about the relocation package. After this, a second technical interview is scheduled with one of the Yolo engineers where we spoke about technical aspects of the position, past experiences/projects and literally anything that interests you for the job, the interviewer was able to describe in a kind manner. Following up after the discussions, there is a 30-40 minute frontend questions regarding React, JavaScript, TypeScript and testing. The third part of the hiring process is a technical take-home test task which you have 1 week to complete which is more than enough, it is a project with React and Typescript with all the instructions and requirements clearly defined.

1st interview with in-house recruiter: the usual questions about personality and walking them through my previous experience. 2nd interview: technical interview with hiring manager, some live coding and technical questions.
