Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó más de 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Yelp (San Francisco, CA) en dic 2010
Entrevista
After passing phone interview I was called to schedule an in-person interview for the following week.
3 different sales managers interview you for 20 minutes each. They ask you a few general questions about your resume and then each ask a specific question or challenge.
I remember a couple. One was "sell me this table". I made the initial mistake of going right into selling her the table without asking her what kind of table she was looking for.
Another challenge task was from another sales manager. He asked me to do a role play with him. Him being a salon owner and me being the sales exec for Yelp. My task was to ask open-ended questions about the salon owner's business in order to better figure out how to sell him an ideal advertisement package.
Not much starting pay but sounded like great benefits! They were quick with communication but of course no feedback after no offer.

The interview process was pleasant from start to finish. It included a recruiter phone screen, a video call with the sales manager, a role play exercise, and the opportunity to implement the manager’s feedback.

One question they asked during my interview was what specifically about the role made me feel it was a strong fit for my background and experience.
The interview process with Yelp was a very organized experience. From the first email after I put in my application, to the offer extension call, I always felt well informed and included.
It was a one time interview over video call with a pre call before. One on one with a training manager. Pretty simple not too hard at all. Lasted 30 minutes with questions and role plays.
