So Yelp came to our school to do a tech talk about the kinds of things they are working on (it was pretty interesting) but I gave them my resume then. I was then later contacted about a couple weeks after they came to our school. They gave me a quick and easy coding challenge online and then I later did phone interview about 2 weeks after that, which was kind of hard and I was not prepared.

Brief phone screen followed by 15-minute call with recruiter. Call was extremely scripted, they go through the questions quickly and are clearly just doing these back to back. High focus on your ability to meet quotas, deadlines, and SELL above all else. If you are truly passionate about restaurants/small businesses, take your passion elsewhere.
