About a month after receiving my application, I received an apologetic email saying they were sorry it took so long to get back, but they were interested in me. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and continued the process. The initial interview was a casual conversation with the CTO, which was very informal and basic. Shortly after the interview, the HR person emailed, telling me the interview went very well and they wanted to move forward, so she asked me for references, which I provided. My references said they were never contacted and I never heard anything from the company again. They come across as extremely disorganized and do not conduct themselves with professionalism.

The interview process was pretty straightforward. It started with an initial interview, followed by a second conversation with the Director of Engineering. Both felt casual and easygoing. After that, I received a call from the CEO with a job offer and the usual onboarding steps. From the first interview to my start date, the whole process took about a month.
