I interviewed for the Events Manager position and I was excited about the opportunity available. I had two separate rounds of interviews and was ghosted after the last round. Followed up and never heard a response back, which is so unprofessional and rude.

I’ve applied and interviewed for two positions within 3 months and both were disappointing. The fist one, I went through three rounds, which included a panel, a two hour interview and a presentation. After two weeks of not hearing back, instead of contacting me directly they sent an auto generated response via LinkedIn that I wasn’t selected. Not very personal. The second interview, I was contacted by their recruiter asking me to apply. They indicated I’d have to go through all the rounds again, unfortunately. I passed one interview, and sent my calendar availability for round two. After three weeks I received a Zoom meeting request during a time I wasn’t available. After notifying the YPO contact, she said she’d reschedule the meeting. On the date that was supposed to be canceled, I received a phone call from one of the interviewers that the panel was on the line and wanting to know if I’d be joining. Of course this was so embarrassing for me and a huge inconvenience for them. I followed up immediately via direct email to BOTH of the contacts I was working with several times, however, nobody ever responded. Inconsiderate and unprofessional.
