I was vetted pretty thoroughly. After I submitted my application, I had an interview with the head of XZITO, who approved me for the next stage of the process, which involved passing an online inbound marketing class and preparing a short powerpoint presentation. At the final interview, I met with the Senior Account Manager, presented my powerpoint, answered a few more questions, and created a blog article on the fly based on an assignment presented to me. I left after I turned the finished product in and was offered the job within a week or so.
