El proceso tomó más de 2 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Xero (Sídney)
Entrevista
I entered the building after asking two blokes outside having a smoke. You walk up these metal covered stairs. Up the top is a sign-in register, it's an iPAD.
So I wait, a few minutes pass and about 5 staff walk out. Yay I'm thinking, but no they're all sad and not speaking. I think, it's one of those days.
They all walk out not taking any notice of me and after another few minutes a woman walks out. She directly asks. "Who are you? And what do you want?". I replied "I'm X here to see Y for an interview". She says "Put the name tag on and sit there", pointing to a tiny mushroom stool!
My legs are long and I sat at the table. Then get this! She came back after 2 mins and says "I'm not good at tea or coffees, so I can't make you one!"
Then proceeds to make herself a tea and chat with another staff member! Why not just say "Y will be out shortly and take you down to the coffee shop".
I did get taken to the coffee shop and the manager tried to convince me I was Srn Dev level. Yet kept asking me questions as if "what would you do".
Clearly, there's problems with this process because the recruiter called me back asking for another interview. I asked "a second", no another first. That's when I told the Xero recruiter how unethical this was and they agreed.
1st conversation with recruiter was great. Understood the roles well and was able to point me towards a role that better suited my skills and what I was looking for.
