I have yet to start my role at XPO Logistics, however if the recruitment process is anything to go by, I think I will be very well looked after here. I was initially contacted by Daniel Lee on Linkedin about a potential opportunity, so I wasn’t actively looking for a new challenge. We spoke and I was immediately interested in what he had to say. After reading the advertisement, it was clear that XPO like to do things a little differently and are not afraid to inject a bit of fun and humor in everything they do, including job advertisements! Pros: Offered an interview quite quickly and kept informed of the process and timings. Second interview was with another Director and the person currently in the role, which gave me the opportunity to ask more direct questions about the role itself. Again, I was made aware of timings and when I would hear back from them. Contacted by the Hiring Mgr to congratulate me and offered assistance, should I need it. Been in regular contact with Dan since being offered the post to ensure everything is ok, paperwork has been received etc. Great on boarding process, which sadly so many companies get wrong - thankfully not XPO! Cons: 2.5 weeks before I start.
