      Entrevista para University Recruiting Coordinator

Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en X (San Francisco, CA)

      Entrevista

      1. Applied through LinkedIn 2. Recruiter emailed me regarding setting up an appointment 3. Sr. University Recruiter contacted me via email to set up a Google meet-up 4. Interview was less than 30 min Experience: From the get go the Sr. University Recruiter was already not interested in me. She was not making any contact and looked bored throughout the whole interview. She quickly reviewed my resume and asked me 3-4 questions regarding my work experience and why I wanted to join twitter. For the rest of the interview she explained the role and asked me if I had any questions. I basically asked most of the questions during our interview. She didn't seem to care to learn much about me other than what I had put on my resume. I felt this was odd because in an interview with a recruiter I thought the point of it was to get to know the candidate as much as possible not the other way around. I had this vibe that she already felt her company was the best and that she didn't have to sell it to me because the name already did it for her. WRONG. Even if this is a contract position I should still feel convinced that I would be a valued employee and understand what it's like to be apart of a great company like Twitter. As the face and really a first impression of the company to most people learn to put your best face on even if you're not interested in moving forward with the candidate. This experience has really discouraged me as a young professional to apply to twitter for future positions.
