Subject: A Cautionary Tale: World Kinect's Unprofessional Hiring Practices
I am writing this review to warn potential candidates about my experience with World Kinect, specifically regarding the Senior InfoSec Identity Engineer position. My interaction with this company was a complete waste of time and energy, and I feel compelled to share my experience to prevent others from falling victim to their unprofessional hiring practices.
Despite being assured that the hiring process was moving quickly and that they were eager to move forward with a candidate, I was left hung and dried. Even after expressing my availability for a second interview, immediately. Only to receive a random and flabbergasting generic response of we were interested in you a lot, but no longer the case. When I'd simply asked some questions, as the recruiter had assured me that I can ask anything without any bias.
It became evident that World Kinect was not serious about filling this position and was simply stringing along candidates to maintain a pipeline of talent. This behaviour is not only disrespectful but also a significant waste of time and resources for jobseekers.
I urge anyone considering a position at World Kinect to proceed with extreme caution. This company has demonstrated a complete disregard for the time and efforts of potential candidates, and I believe it is essential to expose their unprofessional practices to prevent others from falling victim to their deception.
