Pathetic! The interview started 10 minutes late since the interviewer had another meeting, kind of weird, since their invite was saying that I as an interviewee has to login before 5-10 minutes. 1. Their policies are designed in a way to hand you an umbrella in a perfect weather, and they will ask it to return it back once it starts raining. 2. For contractors, you cannot force someone to not sign-up other clients when there is no conflict of interest, you cannot blindly create a policy that works in your OWN favor and doesn't respect both parties. 3. It's more of an employment in disguise of a contractor status. 4. Remote work isn't a luxury for people its actually the BEST cost-effective approach for both parties. 5. When the interviewee raises a question instead of deviating from the questions try to answer it. 6. Try to be transparent with the salary when communicating the role. 7. Designing a contract that can be terminated immediately and not allowing the contractor to signup other contracts (when there is no conflict of interest) and labeling it 'both-ways', you essentially are giving a KFC menu to a starving person while the restaurant is closed! 8. Try to be respectful of interviewee time, and try to research the profile first before scheduling an interview so you can get an idea if that person actually is in the radar, because some people earn exceptionally well!
