I was asked to arrange my own travel to Victoria. They insisted I take a 7am ferry to meet the team. The first, of 6 interviews, was a tech test/discussion w very little interaction. Technical tests help companies hire employees who are good at writing tests, not dealing with real-world issues. The rest of the interviews were literally read from a laminated card verbatim. It felt like the test to see if I was human or an Android like in Bladerunner. Interesting that a company writing HR software failed so miserably at actual recruitment.

1 call with recruiter 1 call with HM 2 interviews with Sr. Engineer and Principal Engineer (Communication and STAR kind) 1 interview with a panel of Sr. Eng and PE (Techincal) with hands on devops work and a coding exercise. I am still waiting for result.
