Brief; I was invited to research and catalogue a section of their collection that hadn't received much attention, and was recommended by a colleague. It was almost a done deal to begin with, since I'm essentially a trained and experienced volunteer, so it didn't feel like a traditional interview.

I had three rounds of interviews. The communication was consistent. The hiring manager was transparent about the process. The process took about 7 months, from submitting the application to receiving the offer.
