I was taken through 4 rounds of interviews. I have never had to do this for a job before and all the while kept wondering why 4 interviews is warranted. I feel like I answered the same core questions in different forms and the whole process could have been condensed to 2 interviews. in the end, after going through everything and being at a point where the only option left would've been to offer me the job, they realised they need to review headcount and are no longer proceeding with recruitment for the position, which was an absolute waste of my time.
