Honestly, most of the reviews are TRUE and I wish i hadn't read them because it made me MORE nervous after reading them. they screen applicants by giving them a questionaire that is pretty long (~20 questions) the phone interview lasted about an hour long, mostly consisting of TECHNICAL questions based on your resume and experience. these technical questions seemed to be more theoretical, while other questions were brainteasers. DO YOUR HOMEWORK and RESEARCH because there were only 1-2 STARS questions with the rest being TECHNICAL questions. also, they seem to ask WHY WHY WHY for every answer you give, so you end up giving 3-4 answers for the same questions because for every answer you give, they ask another question for why you gave that answer... they want to know why you choose that answer. so then.. you give them your reasoning.. and then they'll flip it and say, what if ___ happens, would your answer be the same.. waste of time... i knew i shouldn't have tried to apply here after i read the difficulty of probing for answers during the interview.

Long but fair. Started with an HR interview where I was asked standard questions as well as a time where I had to solve a technical problem and the steps I took to do so, then a 2nd phone interview with a manager who was friendly and polite. I was asked a combination of questions from what I am looking for in a job culturally,, behavioral questions, and some very straightforward technical questions pertaining to LEDs and semiconductors. I am preparing for my 3rd interview now and was told to expect 4 total before an offer. All the interviews are still over the phone, none in person. For the 3rd interview I have been asked to prepare a 30 minute presentation on research or a project I have completed and to expect 30 minutes of follow up questions from 3-4 R&D managers.
