Felt like they were looking to only hire men. My credentials were better than the person who ended up getting hired. Seemed like it was who you know, not what you know.

I had one interview with two partners. One of which I’d be working under and the other was in a different office but worked with the same big client. They were both very nice.

Entrevista
Spoke with the recruiter over the phone and then had a zoom interview scheduled a few weeks later. The interview was odd as the partner interviewing me gave me the “we will hire you if you promise to stay” vibes. Seems like the firm has a high turnover and they are looking for associates who are willing to work 2000 plus billables with 120k salary.
