After a brief telephone call I got called in for a meeting. An official of the company and the managing director were present. They told me they are opening an office in Malaysia to support their overseas business and went into a lot of detail about what they do - which was very impressive. Overall it went really well and I was told they will schedule another meeting in a couple of days to discuss further and show me around the new office. However, after a few follow up back-and-forth emails where they stated that my experience is a perfect fit for them, they postponed the second meeting the night before it was scheduled to take place. Although the last minute change was inconvenient, I agreed. After this my all my emails went unanswered. I felt 'ghosted' by the company and rather disappointed as they did not appear to be like those unethical companies who leave candidates hanging - seeing as they are themselves in the recruitment business. This completely changed my opinion of the firm - very unprofessional.
