Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Whitney Museum (New York, NY) en abr 2015
Entrevista
A group of candidates initially interviewed with 2-3 managers for about an hour of mostly common sense and scenario questions, followed by an individual one-on-one interview with a manager. Candidates were asked in the group a number of scenario questions and were encouraged to speak up with answers. The second phase was mostly an opportunity for candidates to give a comprehensive explanation of individual experience and skills. Many of the questions were intended to learn about the candidates personality, interests and style of work. Emphasis was placed on customer service experience, even more so than arts or museums, overall.

Group interview then private one on one. People rushed to speak and took up space so saying something thats relative, and stands out is important. I think perspective is key

if someone was mad about their experience at the museum and complained to you about it, how would you handle it
This was a group interview. There were 5 of us in the room, all posed a question, and then had to speak up popcorn style to respond. The questions were all retail / customer service oriented, not about museum or arts experience.

One group interview. I interviewed with three other people. The questions were only customer service scenarios. They don't ask about the museum or anything. They want to know mainly how you would handle various situations that might occur. After the interview, they separate all the interviewees and ask for your resume and application. Maybe at this point, they’ll tell you whether or not you got the job, but for me, they just told me I was free to explore the museum.
