I interviewed with wetter.com, a process that took six weeks and ended with no offer. In the first round, the Product Owner's questioning style was condescending and aimed at undermining my responses, while the HR representative remained silent, only taking notes. The second round involved a take-home design task that required more than five days of work. Despite my thorough preparation and offering multiple solutions, it seemed they were only interested in free labor. In the third round, I presented my design solutions to the Product Owner and three team members. Their basic questions and lack of engagement suggested they weren't genuinely interested although they said they liked both my solutions and my presentation. After waiting for almost a month, I received a rejection. The hiring team appeared disorganized, unprofessional, and possibly threatened by experienced candidates. Be cautious with wetter.com; they may exploit candidates for free work without clear hiring intentions.
