Had a call with someone who asked me a few easy questions. Asked my current salary which was higher then the role. Said that it was best not to try go higher not to sell myself out of the running. In the ens he mentioned that they had contractors that might be renewing which means the position won't be available. Got a rejection email a week later. I dont see the point in going through the hassle if the role might not be available. Personally I think my salary was too high so they took me out of the running.
