Entrevista
I got hired without a formal on-site interview (just phone interview with the recruiter followed by the hiring manager) because I have worked with the hiring manager in a prior company and had a great reference. During my employment with Wells Fargo, I was part of many interviews to select our team members (full time as well as contractors). For every position, there is a set of questions that are pre-published by the members of the hiring department and given to recruitment. It's important that the candidate doens't fail the questions related to "must have" qualifications and experience. During the interview process, the candidates are scored independantly by a panel of minimum three employees from the hiring department and the average score from the panel is compared against each candidate to select the best candidate for hire. Some candidates are marked for "not to be hired" if their average score falls well below an acceptable threshold. This is submitted to the HR and they take over in extending the offer, follow up, etc. They may choose the second best candidate if the top candidate doesn't work out for whatever reason.

Entrevista
Interview was total of 5 rounds
3 Technical,1 Manager & 1 HR . It was for the role of Team lead.
Day 1 was Telephonic and was for 1 hour.
After 1week i have received an email from HR to attend second round directly at company.
3rd was managerial and most of the times the Manger was explaining the nature of work.
4th was HR and nothing much just asked reason for change and expected salary
5th was again a technical round but most of them were scenario based and was related to my work and resume

Interviewer was very calm & cool.

HR interview is primarily checking on the experience with respect to the job responsibilities.
Manager interview is behavior in nature while second round is much more technical/to the point job related experience/tasks related.

Entrevista
There was several interviews, one with a manager, one with a panel, and one with a group of managers. The process was long and hr wasn't quick to get in touch. It's wasn't for a while afterward that I finally heard back from the group that they'd closed the opening and would be reposting it.
