      Entrevista para Customer Success Advocate

      10 jun 2016
      Candidato de entrevista anónimo
      Scottsdale, AZ
      Sin ofertas
      Experiencia negativa

      Solicitud

Me postulé a través de una agencia de empleos. El proceso tomó 1 día. Acudí a una entrevista en Weebly (Scottsdale, AZ) en jun 2016

      Entrevista

This is for the Scottsdale, AZ office. The managers are extremely picky and throw people out for dumb reasons. However, the process was extremely fun. I signed in on an iPad. It took a picture of me and printed out a name tag. Their meeting room is named "fruity pebbles" and everyone in the office was wearing casual dress. My interviewer was wearing cargo shorts and a tshirt. Really fun looking office atmosphere. I wore a two piece suit and felt a little out of place. The staffing agency I went to said they were casual but "please dress professional". One of the panel members actually cracked a joke about It. (Strike one for me.) They did a "friend" Roleplaying, some tough brain teaser questions to test your problem solving skills, and general experience questions, why do you want to leave your current job etc. I have been wanting to work for Weebly since I was 18. This is my dream industry. (I'm 23 now). If they didn't send me an offer based on my suit and my inability to answer the brain teasers in a timely manner, they need to seriously fix their hiring metric. I believe I was perfect for this position as I COMPLETELY fit in with everyone's personality and attitude + goals for the company. They are extremely picky and I think they saw my suit and my tiredness from just getting off of an overnight shift and said no thanks. Overall it was a fun place, I just wish they could've seen my potential. I could've done awesome with this gig. just make sure you crush the interview or they'll toss you out like a piece of trash, in the most friendly way possible. Everyone was super nice and funny with me, which is why it hurts so much to not have been offered the position. Another tip: they hate tech geeks/programmers/coders.

The recruiter was extremely responsive and I was scheduled for a phone interview within 48 hours of applying. Their screening process is so unique and fun! Designing a website was the last thing I would have thought I'd be doing but it was great!

      Entrevista

I applied online. Part of the application is making a website with their platform. I completed it and sent it into them on January 25th. I had a phone interview within a few days with someone from San Francisco. The recruiter called 5 minutes late, but then it was fairly simple after that. Then we set up an in person interview. They told me to dress casual but didn't give very good directions on where to park. You walk in and there is a nice receptionist. You sign in on an iPad and then you get a name tag printed out. I was interviewed by three guys, all dressed casually. I was interviewed in their conference room named Fruity Pebbles. They ask you some problem solving questions but I feel they are mostly gauging your personality rather than your skill set. We also did a role play with a phone conversation about how would I recommend Weebly and sell it to somebody. I thought it was interesting that they kept saying "be yourself" and seemed put off by nervousness even though they should know everyone is trying to make a good first impression.
