The interview process was straightforward at Webroot. My only disappointment was that I didn't hear from the recruiter on a regular basis throughout the process, even though I was informed I was one of their top candidates. I actually learned I had not been selected for the position by visiting their website, even after multiple phone and in-person interviews. This left me with a poor impression, but I do not believe this translates to other departments in the company (especially those that impact customers, thankfully).
Overall, my experience with the people I interviewed with was very positive. The employees were kind, approachable, and intelligent. I did not think any of the questions were difficult, though I did get one question that seemed completely out of place as I was interviewing for a senior-level position. I was asked if I knew what job I was interviewing for, and I was instantly concerned I might be wasting my time.
There were a lot of positives though - applying is easy, and the recruiter (though somewhat of a poor communicator overall) was excellent at setting up interviews with the right people and answering questions up front. The work culture and environment seemed extremely fast-paced and fun. People seemed to enjoy their jobs, and appreciate the new management team in place. I met some of the top executives, and I was impressed.
