      Entrevista

      The first 30-minute interview with a CS Manager and Account Director was great. The questions were relevant and specific. Afterwards, I was asked to complete a personality test. The on-site interview with 2 VPs and the CEO was unusual. It was clear within the first few minutes that they weren’t seriously considering me for the role. The CEO arrived late because he needed to get coffee and announced that he hadn’t reviewed my resume. The questions were extremely broad and didn’t have much relevance to the role. For instance, you might expect questions about dealing with difficult clients, navigating the ambiguity inherent in a small company, isolating complex technical issues, or communicating with engineers. There were no questions about how I would approach the unique challenges of the position. After 30 minutes, they were out of “questions” and I was left to fill the time. The CEO probably utilized 75% of the entire interview. Afterwards, I got an email that said “This is not the news you expected to hear.” Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
