First phone screen with the recruiter was bizarre I thought we were talking about the position I applied for but didn’t reveal it was a general phone screen until the end. I was audibly frustrated so she said she would submit my resume to the position I was interested in (which I thought I had already done by applying for it). When I got to the in-person stage I asked how Wayfair addresses the level of turnover and their response was “we are all millennials”. None of the interviewers spoke of the specifics of the actual position it was all just behavioral based. Only one of the four managers I met with had been in that department for more than a year which is very concerning.
