I applied for another position and the recruiter picked up my resume. After a phone interview, she felt like that I was more suitable for the Senior Analyst position so she referred my resume to another recruiter. I also had a phone interview with the new recruiter and we mainly discussed about my experiences, education background, future goals, what I am looking for, etc. Then, I was called in to meet with one of the managers of the group and we had a interview to discuss about the position, what my qualifications are and company culture, etc. It wasn't too hard of an interview and the hiring manager really liked me and told me I am one of the strongest candidates. However, after a couple of weeks, I called to follow up and they said they decide to go with another candidate. I suggest to keep in contact with the recruiter because she did ask me a couple months later if I was interested in another position.
