Saw the post on company site, but didn’t apply because I didn’t have the exact experience listed. Then, 5 days later saw someone online share the post so figured I’d submit my resume for review. After about 30 minute phone screening by a recruiter, she said she’d move me forward. Got two interviews for two days later. Those were about 30-min each, both super positive and easygoing. Next round was supposed to be “final round” with hiring manager about 1.5 weeks later, which was also rather informal. Found out that they liked me BUT wanted me to do 3 additional interviews the next week since I was in the final 2, going against an internal candidate. Another 1.5 weeks later, I got a verbal and written offer. I gave them a start date of 4 weeks later so that I could finish my project, give my notice, and have some transition time off. Felt a lot of pressure to start sooner so ended up starting 2 weeks ahead of my request. I will say that the recruiter was AWESOME throughout the process. She gave me feedback and set me up for success along the way. The recruitment coordinator also did a great job of scheduling interviews, never felt pressure from him and he always made it feel like it was about my experience. Everyone in the interview process was a delight to meet, and it was pretty “laid back” and comfortable. For each interview I sat on a couch and chatted pretty organically with the interviewers, and it wasn’t a rigid Q&A type of interview.
