The assessment day consisted in a short team exercise, one presentation, one excel test and 2 interviews. the day was fairly long however there was a lot of time waiting around.

I attended an assessment centre, and it involved a group exercise, then a presentation, then finally an interview - with a small tour of the building and lunch in between. The group exercise was a more informal and relaxed than most other company's assessment centres. It involved making a tower out of dry spaghetti to hold up a marshmallow. Silly and fun, but a good way to see how you work in a team. The presentation was done in front of three members of the finance team. We were given a brief and had to present our findings on it. Very straight forward but a great chance to show your ability to understand and present the work given to you. Finally the interview, with two members out of those three from the presentation. They asked six questions which I'll add in the interview question section - don't remember the exact wording but will paraphrase. Overall, a very fun and interesting day!
