The interview itself was ok & I was made to feel welcome at the time. However the feedback was quite harsh and coldly sent on email. It is good that feedback is given, but doing this on email gives the candidate no chance to ask questions to truly understand the feedback & drive their development. Given the amount of time candidates put into preparing, travelling to & the interview itself, companies need to have the respect to phone an unsuccessful candidate and discuss the feedback. I expected more from Waitrose.
