I was walked through the newsroom where you could feel a kind of tension. It was more quiet than other newsrooms I worked in and nobody made eye contact. I sat in the news director's office and someone knocked on his door and he left me for, like twenty minutes to go do something. He didn't apologize when he finally got back and seemed distracted like he wasn't even interested in what I was saying. It felt rushed and when I left I felt pretty sure I wouldn't work there.
