I was contacted shortly after applying online through the company's website to do a phone interview. After the phone interview I was invited to an in-person interview (4 hours away from my home). I was then asked to do some sample work that took approximately 8 hours. I was the asked to complete an additional application giving permission to check my references and background. After this process I reached out to the interviewers a couple of times to check the process and was ignored. I was also lied to when they asked me to complete the second application as I later learned they had already hired someone else. In my opinion lying to a prospective employee and then completely ignoring them is VERY unprofessional.
