The hiring process was supposed to be an initial screening call with HR, followed by an interview with the hiring manager, followed by a director interview call and then several rounds of in person interviews in their offices involving technical and soft skills tests, so fairly long process.
However, since the hiring manager was on vacation I ended up meeting with the director first before the hiring manager, and ended up getting screened out when they came back, even though I had talked with the director and they already laid out next steps giving me the wrong expectations. Overall the interview process was pretty unorganized and I had to ask the HR contact for updates constantly.
