I applied for a spring news internship position. I finished my application and sent into the news station and a few days later I received an email from an executive producer/intern supervisor to schedule an interview. I went in for the interview and it was a few general questions about why I wanted to intern for them and future goals. Then, I was given a tour of the newsroom. A little over a week later I received a congratulatory email saying I was chosen and the next steps to take. The process was very easy and fairly quick to me.
