I interviewed in the midst of Covid. I interviewed 2 times and was told I was one of their top 3 candidates. Then Covid happened. They said they were going to hold off on hiring. I get an email 2 months later saying they were hiring for the position again and wanted to interview twice more. I interviewed and then I was ghosted. I followed up once a week for 4 weeks and finally by the assistant was told the position had been filled. They most likely opened it up to other individuals when they decided to hire again.
