My data science interview experience was intense yet insightful. It started with a technical assessment focusing on Python, SQL, and machine learning algorithms. I was asked to explain data preprocessing techniques, model evaluation metrics, and handle scenarios involving imbalanced datasets. A coding challenge followed, where I implemented a solution for a classification problem using scikit-learn. The interview also had questions on feature engineering and interpreting results. I was given a case study to analyze a dataset and present my insights, testing both my technical and business acumen. Overall, it was a challenging but rewarding process.
